Cymbidĭum Sw. (Kahnlippe), Gattung der Orchideen, auf Bäumen wachsende Pflanzen mit riemenförmigen Blättern, hängenden oder aufrechten, arm- oder vielblumigen Blütentrauben und kahnförmiger Honiglippe. Etwa 30 Arten in Ostindien, dem malaiischen Archipel, in China, einzelne in Japan, Afrika, Australien, Neukaledonien. Mehrere Arten werden als Zierpflanzen kultiviert. C. giganteum Vall., in Nepal, C. aloëfolium Sw., in Malabar, C. eburneum Lindl., C. Mastersii Lindl., beide in Ostindien, C. Lowianum Rchb. til., in Birma, sind die verbreitetsten Arten.
