Itzibu (Itze-Bu, »ein Bu«), japan. Silbermünze bis 1871 in wechselnden Formen, zuletzt viereckig, früher sehr sein = 1,55 Mk. der Talerwährung und allmählich bis auf 9/10 Feingehalt vermindert, nach Vertrag von 1857 auf 311 I. = 100 span. Dollar festgesetzt, auch in 1/2-(Ni-schu) und 1/4-Stücken (I-schu).
