Antheunis (spr. -tönis), Gentil Theodoor, vläm. Dichter, geb. 9. Sept. 1840 in Oudenaarde, lebt als Richter in Brüssel. Seine lyrischen Gedichte zeichnen sich durch besondern Wohlklang aus und sind vielfach in Musik gesetzt worden (besonders von Willem Demol). Die Hauptsammlungen sind »Uit het hart« (Leiden 1875) und »Leven, lievenen zingen« (Haag 1879).
