Coldstream-Guards (spr. kōldstrīm-gards), ein zur Gardebrigade gehörendes engl. Infanterieregiment, das, 1656 errichtet, bei der Restauration vorzügliche Dienste leistete und deshalb bei der Auflösung der Armee durch Karl II. 1660 allein bestehen blieb. Es trägt scharlachroten Waffenrock mit weißen Litzen, dunkelblaue Beinkleider und schwarze Bärenmützen mit rotem Busch. Vgl M'Kinnon, Origin and services of the C. (Lond. 1833).
