Die Eingebornen hüten den großen Reichtum des Gebirges an Marmor, Gold, Silber, Kupfer, Blei, Zinn, Bergkristallen, Amethyst, Granaten und Smaragden vor den Europäern eifersüchtig, beuten ihn aber selbst fast gar nicht aus.
