Merĭonethshire (welsch Meirionydd), Grafschaft im engl. Fürstentum Wales, wird von den Grafschaften Carnarvon, Denbigh, Montgomery und der Bai von Cardigan umschlossen und umfaßt 1731 qkm (31,4 QM.) mit (1901) 49,149 Einw. (28 auf 1 qkm). Hauptort ist Dolgelly.
