Jedburgh (spr. dschéddbŏro), Hauptstadt (royal burgh) von Roxburghshire (Schottland), im tiefen Tal des Jed (zum Teviot), mit Abteiruine, Schloß (früher Gefängnis), Museum, Lateinschule, Fabrikation von Wollenzeug und Decken und (1901) 2222 Einw. J. ist Geburtsort des Physikers D. Brewster und von Mary Somerville.
