Algarobilla, farbstoffreiche Hülsen, wie A. von Guyacan von Caesalpinia melanocarpa; A. von Argentinien von Acacia guayensis; chilenische A. von Caesalpinia brevifolia. Letztere sind 3–5 cm lang, 1–2,5 cm breit, gelb bis dunkelbraun und enthalten 68 (ohne Samen 80) Proz. Gerbstoff und dienen zum Gerben.
