Calămus (lat.), die Rohrfeder, deren man sich im Altertum zum Schreiben auf Papyrus und Pergament bediente (die beste Sorte kam aus Ägypten); sie ist noch jetzt im Orient üblich (arab. Kelâm). C. Dei, Feder Gottes, nennt man die Verfasser der biblischen Schriften in der Auffassung, daß sie nur unmittelbar von Gott Eingegebenes geschrieben haben.
