Machynlleth

Machynlleth (spr. mǟkinnlēth oder mǟ-hönntlĕth), Stadt in Montgomeryshire (Nordwales), am untern Dovey, mit Flanellweberei und (1901) 2038 Einw., das Maglona der Römer. Hier wurde Owen Glendower 1402 zum Fürsten von Wales gewählt.
