Kinghorn

Kinghorn (spr. king-horn), Stadt (royal burgh) in Fifeshire (Schottland), am Firth of Forth, 5 km südlich vom Kirkcaldy, hat Schiffbau, Flachsspinnerei, Bleicherei, Leimfabrikation und (1901) 1177 Einw. Bei Kinghorn Neß wurde Alexander III. 1286 getötet.
