Hansom (engl., spr. hännßöm), in England eine nach dem Erfinder benannte zweiräderige, leichte, ungedeckte, schnell fahrende Droschke mit nur zwei Sitzen. Der erhöhte Kutscherbock befindet sich im Rücken der Fahrgäste, mit denen der Kutscher durch eine Öffnung im Verdeck sich verständigen kann; auch als Luxuswagen gebaut.
