Gualándi

Gualándi (spr. gwa-), Michel Angelo, ital. Kunstschriftsteller, geb. 13. März 1793 in Bologna, gest. 1865, machte große Reisen durch Europa, auf denen er Kunstgegenstände und Dokumente sammelte, und brachte schließlich seine Sammlungen im Palazzo Fava zu Bologna unter. Er hat sich um die Erforschung der italienischen Kunstgeschichte sehr verdient gemacht und gab heraus: »Memorie originali risguardanti le belle arti« (Bologna 1840–47, 4 Bde.); »Nuova raccolta di lettere sulla pittura, scultura ed architettura« (das. 1844–45, 2 Bde.); »Tre giorni in Bologna« (1850); »Ugo da Carpi« (1854) u. a.
