Gisselfeld, Fräuleinstift im dän. Amt Sorö, auf der Insel Seeland, 1702 vom Grafen Chr. Gyldenlöve für 16 (jetzt 50) Jungfrauen des dänischen Adels (und jetzt der entsprechenden Rangklassen) errichtet. Jedes Fräulein erhält durchschnittlich 600 Kronen jährlich. Das schön gelegene Hauptgebäude ließ 1547 der Reichshofmeister Peter Oxe erbauen.
