Fansāga

Fansāga, Cosimo, ital. Architekt und Bildhauer, geb. 1591 in Bergamo, gest. 1678 in Neapel, war anfangs in Rom und seit 1626 in Neapel tätig, wo er zahlreiche Kirchen, Paläste und Privathäuser in einem maßvollen Barockstil erbaute und auch Brunnen und Altäre mit bildnerischem Schmuck ausstattete. Seine architektonischen Hauptwerke sind die Kirche der heil. Theresa, die Ferdinandskirche, die Kirche Santa Maria Maggiore und der Maddalonipalast (jetzt Banca nazionale).
