Allatius, Leo, ein von der griechischen zur röm. Kirche übergegangener Theolog, geb. 1586 in Chios, leitete die Überführung der Heidelberger Bibliothek nach Rom und starb daselbst 19. Jan. 1669. Er schrieb »De Ecclesiae occidentalis atque orientalis perpetua consensione libri III« (Köln 1648) und »Graeciae orthodoxae scriptores« (Rom 1652–59, 2 Bde.; neu hrsg. von Lämmer, Freiburg 1864).
