Dizful (Disful), Stadt in der pers. Provinz Chusistan, am Dizfulfluß, zur Hälfte (der Hitze wegen) im Felsen ausgehöhlt, hat verfallene Mauern, 34 Moscheen und 25,000 Einw., die Indigo und berühmte, bis Indien, Bagdad und Konstantinopel gehende Schreibfedern aus Rohr verfertigen. 22 km südwestlich liegen die Ruinen des alten Susa (Schusch).
