Desolation Land (spr. deßolēsch'n-), chilen. Insel am Westeingang der Magalhãesstraße, während der Kanal Santa Barbara sie von der Insel Clarence im SO. scheidet. An der Magalhãesstraße hat sie mehrere Häfen, wie Puerto de Misericordia (Mercy Harbour), die südwestliche Küste weist zahllose Baien mit kleinen Inseln und Straßen auf.
