Denbighshire

Denbighshire (spr. dénnbĭschĭr), Grafschaft im engl. Fürstentum Wales, grenzt nördlich an das Irische Meer und ist von Flintshire, Cheshire, Shropshire, Montgomery-, Merioneth- und Carnarvonshire umgeben. Sie umfaßt 1714 qkm (31,1 QM.) mit (1901) 129,935 Einw. (75 auf 1 qkm). Denbigh ist die Hauptstadt der Grafschaft.
