Birnam, Hügel bei Dunkeld (Schottland), 410 m hoch, mit schöner Aussicht auf das Taytal, ist bekannt aus Shakespeares »Macbeth« durch den ihn früher bedeckenden königlichen Forst (Birnamwald).
