West Troy (spr. treu), gewöhnlich Watervliet genannt, Stadt im nordamerikan. Staate New York, Troy (s. d. 1) gegenüber, am schiffbaren Hudson und am Ausgangspunkt des Erie- und des Champlainkanals, mit dem großen Watervliet Arsenal der Union, Waggon- und Maschinenfabriken, Holzhandel und (1900) 14,321 Einw.
