Tavolāra (bei den Römern Bucciana), eine der Bucinarischen Inseln (s. d.), an der Nordostküste der Insel Sardinien, bis 555 m hoch, bildet die südliche Begrenzung des Golfs von Terranova, hat eine Fläche von 6,12 qkm, trägt einen Leuchtturm, beherbergt wilde Ziegen und lieferte ehemals Purpurschnecken. Die ca. 180 Bewohner bilden eine Art Freistaat.
