Swaffham (spr. ßwäffäm), Marktstadt in der engl. Grafschaft Norfolk, 24 km südöstlich von Kings Lynn, hat eine gotische Kirche (15. Jahrh.), eine Kornhalle, Lateinschule, Eisengießerei, Viehhandel und (1901) 3371 Einw. 6 km nordwestlich das Dorf Castle Acre, mit Ruinen eines Schlosses und einer Abtei aus dem 11. Jahrh.
