Porges, Heinrich, Musiker, geb. 25. Nov. 1837 in Prag, gest. 17. Nov. 1900 in München, begründete 1885 in München einen eignen Gesangverein, mit dem er Werke von Berlioz, Liszt, Bruckner u. a. ausführte. Auch trat er mit Beiträgen für Musikzeitungen und Broschüren für die Musik Wagners, Liszts u. a. ein. Aus seinem Nachlaß erschien die Schrift »Tristan und Isolde« (Leipz. 1906).
