Podgorz, Flecken im preuß. Regbez. Marienwerder, Landkreis Thorn, unweit der Weichsel und Thorn gegenüber, hat eine neue evangelische und eine kath. Kirche, eine große Bierbrauerei, Dampfmühle und (1905) 3618 Einw., davon 1200 Katholiken und 100 Juden. Nahe bei der Stadt ein Artillerieschießplatz. P. war früher Stadt, der Name wird in Amberg umgewandelt.
