Oxime

Oxime (Isonitrosoverbindungen), organische Verbindungen, welche die Oximidgruppe (Isonitrosogruppe) N(OH) enthalten. Sie entstehen bei Einwirkung von salpetriger Säure oder Hydroxylamin auf Aldehyde oder Ketone, und man unterscheidet da nach Aldoxime und Ketoxime. So liefert Aceton CH3.CO.CH3 das Acetoxim CH3.C(NOH).CH3. Dies bildet farblose Prismen, riecht chloralartig, schmilzt bei 60°, destilliert bei 134° und reagiert neutral. Das Wasserstoffatom der Oximidgruppe kann durch Alkalimetalle und durch Alkyle ersetzt werden. Beim Kochen mit Säuren zerfallen die O. unter Aufnahme von Wasser in Aldehyde, bez. Ketone und Hydroxylamin, bei Behandlung mit Reduktionsmitteln liefern sie Aminbasen.
