Oosterwyck

Oosterwyck (spr. -weik), Maria van, holländ. Malerin, geb. 27. Aug. 1630 in Nootdorp bei Delft, gest. 12. Nov. 1693 in Uitdam bei Mönnickendam, war Schülerin des Jan Davidsz de Heem und in Delft und Amsterdam tätig. Sie hat Blumen- und Fruchtstücke und Stilleben gemalt, die, durch große Klarheit der Färbung ausgezeichnet, sehr geschätzt wurden. Je zwei besitzen die Dresdener Galerie und das Hofmuseum in Wien, je eins die Kunsthalle in Karlsruhe, die Galerien in Kopenhagen u. Schwerin und das Museum im Haag.
