Llanberis

Llanberis (spr. länbérris), Stadt in Carnarvonshire (Wales), am Fluß Seiont, Ausgangspunkt für die Besteigung des Snowdon, mit Schieferbrüchen und (1901) 3015 Einw. In der Nähe zwei Seen (Llyn Padarn und Llyn Peris), der Wasserfall Cennant River (20 m hoch) und der Paß von L., ein wildes, 10 km langes Tal zwischen Snowdon und Glyder Fawr (998 m), mit Fahrstraße von Carnarvon nach Capel Curig.
