Anthestērion

Anthestērion (griech.), Blütenmonat, der achte Monat des attischen Jahres, Mitte Februar bis Mitte März, so genannt von den Anthesterien, dem dreitägigen Wein- und Trinkfest, das zu Ehren des Dionysos jährlich vom 11.–13. Tage des Monats begangen ward.
