Holborn (spr. höbĕrn), Verwaltungsbezirk (metropolitan borough) Londons im N. der Themse, zwischen der Waterloo- und Blackfriars-Brücke, mit (1901) 59,405 Einw. Das 8 m tiefe Tal des Fleetbaches ist seit 1869 durch den nach Haywoods Plänen angelegten Holborn-Viadukt (430 m lang, 25 m breit) überbrückt; dabei die wichtige gleichnamige Sta-: ion der London-Chatham-Dover-Eisenbahn.
