Ajtony (auch Achtum oder Ochtum), reicher ungar. Stammesfürst, der zur Zeit des heil. Stephan längs der untern Maros eine fast unabhängige Stellung einnahm und, um Stephan zu trotzen, den Kaiser von Byzanz als Oberherrn anerkannte. 1028 wurde er von Stephan geschlagen und getötet. Sein Geschlecht erhielt sich im Banat (s. d.) noch bis 1350.
