Cumberland Gap

Cumberland Gap, Hauptpaßübergang über das Cumberlandgebirge (s.d.), 499 m ü. M., von über 400 m hohen Felswänden eingeschlossen, von der Eisenbahnlinie Knoxville-Corbin überschritten. Er wurde 7. Sept. 1863 von den Unionisten genommen.
