Wolds

Wolds (spr. ŭōlds), Höhenzug in Yorkshire und Lincolnshire (England), durch den Humber in zwei Hälften geteilt, mit steilem Abfall nach Westen, besteht aus Kreide, erreicht im Wilton Beacon eine Höhe von 245 m, ist mit Gras und Heidepflanzen bewachsen, aber jetzt dem Ackerland erschlossen.
