Tholos

Tholos (griech., Mehrzahl Tholoi oder Tholen), ein Rundbau. Besonders berühmt war die von dem jüngern Polyklet in Epidauros erbaute T. Nach neugriechischem Sprachgebrauch werden jetzt in der Archäologie die Kuppelgräber (s. d.) so genannt.
