Skibbereen (spr. -rīn), Hafenstadt in der irischen Grafschaft Cork, an der Mündung des Islin, ist Sitz des katholischen Bischofs von Roß, hat bedeutende Fischerei (1903: 812 Boote) und (1891) 3269 Einw.
