Saracco, Giuseppe, ital. Politiker, geb. 9. Okt. 1821 in Bistagno bei Acqui, gest. daselbst 19. Jan. 1907, studierte in Asti und Turin die Rechte, ward dann in Acqui Advokat und 1851 in das sardinische Parlament gewählt, wo er sich den Liberalen anschloß. 1862 war er Generalsekretär des Ministeriums der öffentlichen Arbeiten unter Depretis, 1863 im Finanzministerium und wurde 1865 Mitglied des Senats, dessen Vizepräsident er später war. 1887–89 und 1893–96 war er Minister der öffentlichen Arbeiten, wurde im November 1898 zum Präsidenten des Senats erwählt und stand vom Juni 1900 bis Februar 1901 an der Spitze eines gemäßigt-liberalen Ministeriums.
