Magdalena, an der Mündung des Rio Hacha ins Karibische Meer, 1545 gegründet, früher reich, aber durch Bukanier und die wilden Indianer der Halbinsel Goajira (s. d.) zugrunde gerichtet und jetzt unbedeutend, mit verfallenen Befestigungen und 6000 Einw.
