Oberrosbach, Stadt in der hess. Provinz Oberhessen, Kreis Friedberg, am Taunus und mit Station Rosbach an der Staatsbahnlinie Friedrichsdorf-Friedberg i. H., hat eine evang. Kirche, eine Oberförsterei, eine Mineralquelle (Rosbacher Brunnen) mit Versand, eine Braun- und Eisensteingrube und (1905) 1380 Einw., davon 52 Katholiken. In der Nähe die Reste eines römischen Kastells (Capersburg).
