Nome City

Nome City (spr. nōm ßittĭ), Ort an der Nordwestküste von Alaska, auf der Sewardhalbinsel, in der Nähe von Cave Nome (s. d.), zählte 1900: 12,486 Einw., die seit 1898 durch die reichen Goldseifen des Nomedistrikts herbeigelockt wurden.
