Menologĭon

Menologĭon (griech., Menologium), d. h. Monatsregister, dem römisch-katholischen Martyrologium (s. d.) vergleichbares liturgisches Buch der griechischen Kirche, in dem die unbeweglichen, d. h. auf ein bestimmtes Monatsdatum fallenden Feste, nach Monaten und Tagen geordnet, aufgezählt und Leben und Wirksamkeit der einzelnen Heiligen mehr oder weniger ausführlich beschrieben sind.
