Market Drayton (spr. mārkĕt drēt'n, Drayton in Hales), Marktstadt in Shropshire (England), am Tern und dem Shropshire Union-Kanal, 29 km nordöstlich von Shrewsbury, hat eine Kirche aus der Normannenzeit (1884 restauriert), eine lateinische Schule, Eisengießerei und (1901) 2785 (als Gemeinde 9997) Einw. M. ist wahrscheinlich das Caer Draithon der alten Briten.
