Lynton (spr. linnt'n), Stadt und Seebad in Devonshire (England), auf einer Anhöhe unweit der Mündung des Ost- und West-Lyn, mit (1901) 1641 Einw. Unterhalb liegt das Dorf Lynmouth mit Seebad.
