Sept. 1823 in Pompey (New York), ist als Jugendschriftstellerin unter dem Pseudonym Grace Greenwood populär geworden und hat einige Bände hübscher Reiseschilderungen verfaßt: »Merry England« (1855), »Records of five years« (1867), »New life in new lands« (1873) u.a.
