Kleitor

Kleitor (Klitor), altgriech. Stadt der Azanen im nördlichen Arkadien, freiheitsliebend und tapfer, später Mitglied des Achäischen Bundes, zu Strabons Zeit aber schon zerstört. Ruinen östlich vom heutigen Dorf Klituras, das den alten Namen bewahrt.
