Kimry, Kirchdorf im russ. Gouv. Twer, Kreis Kortschewa, an der Wolga, mit 2 Kirchen, einer Kommunalbank und (1892) 6028 Einw.; ist berühmt durch seine Schuhmacherei. 1807 und 1812 versorgte dies eine Dorf einen großen Teil der russischen Armee mit Fußbekleidung.
