Kilimatinde, Hauptort des gleichnamigen Bezirks in Deutsch-Ostafrika, 940 m ü. M., 180 m über der Ebene von Unyangwira, mit einer Besatzung von 144 Mann (8 Deutsche) und Postagentur. Die Station wurde 1895 zur Sicherung der Karawanenstraße Mpwapwa-Tabora angelegt. Der Bezirk K. umfaßt die Landschaften Ussandaui, Turu, Urimi, Wahumba, Mdaburu, Useke, Kanyenye und Ngambwa; in ihm leben (1903) 23 Europäer.
