Kennedya Vent., Gattung der Leguminosen, windende oder niederliegende Halbsträucher oder Stauden mit gefiederten Blättern, meist drei, seltener einem oder fünf Blättchen, meist ansehnlichen, seltener kleinen, roten, violetten oder schwärzlichen Blüten in end- oder achselständigen, einfachen oder verzweigten, bisweilen etwas doldigen, selten einblütigen Trauben und linealischer, zusammengedrückter oder stielrunder, meist gefächerter oder mit Mark ausgefüllter Hülfe. 15 Arten in Australien, von denen mehrere bei uns in Gewächshäusern, im Sommer im Freien kultiviert werden.
