Inch (spr. inntsch), der englische Zoll = 25,3995 mm und in den Vereinigten Staaten = 25,400 mm; eingeteilt in 12 lines von 12 seconds zu 12 thirds, bei Künstlern zehnteilig, bei Handwerkern in 8 parts oder auch 3 barley corns.
