Haida, Indianervolk an der Nordwestküste Nordamerikas, bewohnt, 2000 Seelen stark, die Königin Charlotte-Inseln und zeichnet sich durch große Kunstfertigkeit im Bau der Häuser, Kanus, Wappenpfähle (Totems) und Hausgeräte aus (vgl. Tafel »Indianische Kultur I«, Fig. 10, und Tafel »II«, Fig. 6; »Geräte der Naturvölker I«, Fig. 2,18; Tafel »II«, Fig. 38). Ihre Mythen und Gebräuche sind mit denen der Tlinkit (s. d.) verwandt. Vgl.
