Grain, Isle of (spr. ail ŏw grēn), ehemals eine Insel am Zusammenfluß von Themse und Medway in der engl. Grafschaft Kent, westlich von Sheppey, jetzt mit dem Festland zusammenhängend, umfaßt 1286 Hektar und enthält ausgedehnte Befestigungen.
